How It Works
How It Works
First, A Consultation
Before you receive your body composition test, we will sit down with you in a consultation to thoroughly discuss your health history, weight issues, and current goals. We review your medications and give you a complete overview of what to expect and how to prepare for your body composition test.
What To Expect
You should prepare for your body composition test with a few easy-to-follow steps such as not eating, exercising, or consuming alcohol or caffeine in the hours before your test. As you step onto the scale, you will align your feet with the foot electrodes and put your thumbs on the oval electrodes, making sure to keep still until the process is complete. Our specialist will be there to guide you through the analysis.
Next Steps
Using the information gained from our conversation and your results, we’ll discuss the different technologies and techniques available and which ones can help you reach your goals. At Dermestetics, we understand the importance of a treatment plan that fits into your overall lifestyle.
After your appointment, you’ll leave with a comprehensive “checkout sheet” that includes all the information we discussed during your consultation, our recommendations, and the next steps.
